Led the build of one multi-tenant admin platform (Next.js 14, TypeScript, MySQL, Redis) that replaced separate per-brand admin portals: per-page, per-tenant read/write permissions, 5 staff roles, 2FA and an audit trail.
Wrote about 92% of its commits since joining, and grew its automated test suite from zero to about 3,000 tests (Vitest, Playwright, GitHub Actions).
Moved about 95% of the company’s email volume (about 450k emails a month) from SendGrid to Amazon SES, and built an in-house campaign tool on top: visual editor, scheduling, rate-limited sending with pause and resume, automatic pause on bounce spikes, suppression lists, and live delivery and click stats. One campaign reached 96.5% of a 32,000-person list.
Traced a runaway cloud-database bill to a self-refreshing admin page and wasteful real-time listeners. A shared Redis cache and server-side queries cut reads from up to 48k to under 1k per 5 minutes; the projected monthly cost is about 90% lower.
Hardened authentication and API security (2FA, session handling, webhook signature checks, access control), and added AI features with Groq (reading screenshots, translation) plus MCP servers that let AI assistants work with internal data.
Also: a multilingual help centre (7 languages, 78 articles), and the Windows port of the open-source desktop app Ferry (Tauri/Rust).

Built Sandstorms AI alone: a voice-agent SaaS that handles live phone calls, with sub-second time to first audio.
Built RAG search for Govava.com and the data pipeline behind it, over tens of millions of product records.
Also shipped a YouTube monetization predictor, a Text-to-SQL assistant, a WhatsApp booking agent, a social media automation suite, a clinical questionnaire system, the Vanta LMS backend and voice cloning for phone agents.

I’m Shakaib, a software engineer in Lahore. The work I like most is what comes after the AI demo: making a voice agent fast enough for a real phone call, cleaning data so search has something good to work with, and wrapping a model in a product people can sign up for and rely on.
At FourDevs.ai I shipped nine AI products end to end, including Sandstorms AI, which I built alone. Attendify began as my final-year project at UMT, and I still build and run it on my own. Today I’m a Full-Stack & Cloud Engineer at Xaibridge, and I take on freelance projects.
